In 1995, there was a change and BTC nv began with the production of a truck wash machine: the birth of the SILVERSTAR was a fact. The SILVERSTAR soon became well-known in Belgium.
In October 2002, BTC nv was taken over by the group WELICA nv. ENTACO nv – NERTA Car & Truck Cleaning Products is also part of this group.
Since 1970, ENTACO nv is manufacturer of car and truck cleaning products and is now active in 34 European countries. The new owners intend to follow the same way with the SILVERSTAR as with NERTA. BTC nv is still market leader in Belgium. At the moment, about 400 machines are operative.

After the take-over, there was a quick wind of change with BTC nv. The sales of wash installations for cars was put to a stop, only the service continued for another 3 years. In the meantime, several quality changes were introduced to the SILVERSTAR. This machine was made completely maintenance free.

In the beginning of 2004, the GOLDSTAR was put on the market. This is a truck and bus wash machine which washes completely overlapping and is free of maintenance. It also has a chassis completely in stainless steel and has the same covering possibilities as the SILVERSTAR.

Also in the beginning of 2004, BTC nv launched the BTC MONO CLEAN. This is a mono-brush installation to wash trucks and buses.

The first BTC JUMBO JET WASH was brought on the market in September 2004, this is a self wash installation with 2 to 10 wash boxes.

In the beginning of 2005, the first BTC AQUA – HYDRO installation was put on the market. This is a biological water recuperation system, available in 5 m³ - 10 m³ - 15 m³ to 20 m³/hour.

As you can see, we haven’t been standing still with BTC nv. All installations are built in our own workshop.

The factory used to be situated in Waver, but since March 2006 the production was brought to Lokeren, where BTC nv has a completely new workshop and offices with a total surface of 1200 m².
